Each of us is a living cosmos, a universe in a single skin. Science confirms what mystics have known for millennia: that these creatures we know as ourselves are constellations of stardust and air, microcosms of a greater whole. In this month’s edition of The Seekers Forum, we explore what this knowledge means to a human life, and how it amplifies our unique potential. “In all my lectures, I have taught one doctrine,” wrote Ralph Waldo Emerson, “the infinitude of the private man.” What does our private infinity look like? How does it deepen and inform us? What knowledge and powers lie within that we barely glimpse in everyday life? These are some of the questions we consider during this month’s Seekers Session. With time and practice, we learn to embrace this infinite identity and claim the Self that has been ours.
