Summary

When we live from our center – our truth, our authority –  life is no longer such a struggle. We begin to operate from a position of balance. That’s what is meant in Buddhism by the Middle Way. Why do we need the Middle Way? Because each of us is a mass of contradictions, extremes, mood swings, and ambivalence. Swinging between these extremes, we suffer, but when we learn to root ourselves in the center, mindfulness is possible.
