What does it mean to have a personality? We take this aspect of life for granted, and yet how strange it is that we mistake this thing we call personality for who – or what — we actually are. In this month’s edition of The Seekers Forum, we’ll be looking at how personality imprisons us inside a false belief in appearances. We’ll examine how a fixed self-image traps us in predictable patterns and limitations. Finally, we’ll consider what freedom might look like if we could untangle the knot of being somebody and come to meet who we actually are. In a world such as ours, obsessed with appearances, and building personality rather than self, these questions are more important than ever.
