Writing Prompts
1. Where are you struggling in your life today? What are the costs and benefits of your struggles? Who would you be without them? Be specific.
- Do you confuse pressure with aliveness in your life?
- Do you believe that struggling is a virtue, and if so why?
- Is there something you are trying to achieve or some place you are trying to get to that seems out of reach?
- What would change in your life if you dropped the struggle?
2. What are you trying to revive, redeem, or rediscover in your life? Why does this matter to you? Be specific.
- Do you believe in the concept of sin? And if so, what are you atoning for?
- Are there parts of yourself that seem broken and in need of repair?
- Where do you feel like you are asleep that you are longing to be revived?
- What would it take for you to feel whole?
