Writing Prompts
1. Which aspects of your personal creation story no longer ring true for you, or deserve to be updated? Why is this so? Be specific.
- How has your view of your parents characters evolved?
- Has your view of the tragic parts of your life shifted over the years, and if so how?
- How has your sense of being blessed evolved and how has that affected your creation story?
2. Do you view the Divine as a paternal, maternal , or gender-neutral figure? How does this impact your faith and worldview?
- Are you someone that needs a human version of god or do you prefer to see the divine as more impersonally?
- Has your spiritual life been affected by patriarchal or paternalistic religion? If so, how?
- Do you see this higher power as far away or very close, and why do you hold this view?
