1. When do you refuse the Call to Adventure? Turn away from the prospect of your awakening? Be specific.
- When do doubts creep up on you on the seeker's path, and why?
- What discourages you on the path of self-knowledge, and why?
- What do you find scary about the seeker's journey, and why?
2. When have you been ‘saved’ by a mentor or spiritual teaching at a moment when you badly needed it?
- How did you recognize that this teacher or teaching was important to you? Be specific.
- What did this mentor communicate that you badly needed to hear?
- Were you tempted to give your power away? Why or why not?
